“ Like the name suggests, this place is rice focused. The delicious here are authentic and delicious. You eat everything with rice. Some are spicy so if you can't tolerate spice, be careful. Prices are great and with many people you get to try more dishes. Service is fast since you order online. Lots of seating available. ”

“ I have seen this place here for a couple of years and finally tried it for lunch. It's mostly Chinese, but more traditional Chinese (which is good) with a few other Asian food influences for some dishes (thus, I guess, the fusion in the name). First, the place looks a little long in the teeth around the entrance, ordering, and counter areas as it ages. Empty display cases, odd areas with nothing that had previously served some purpose, etc. The rest of the space is clean, well-designed, modern, and inviting. There is only one kiosk for ordering, so I assume they want you to use your phone with a QR code. This is the only way to order (the kiosk or your phone). The food is excellent, and the portions are enormous. The Braised Pork Trotters Bowl is close to three meals for me, and the flavors in that dish are stunningly good. The place could use a light refresh around the entrance and front, but maybe the business isn't strong enough to fund that. But it was busy when I was there. I will definitely return to try more of the menu. Many things on it look amazing. ”

“ Wonderful casual semi-cafeteria like restaurant for yummy rice noodles! Plenty of parking in parking lot shared with the metropolitan market nearby: Mostly self-serve with utensils and self-seating. Order from a QR code and they will bring your food to you once it's ready. We really enjoyed the pork ribs and minced pork with pickled long beans. The noodle soups' flavors were spot on and had some spice to it! Very delicious comforting meal. This is our second time here and we will definitely come again! ”

“ Fan Tang Asian Cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy delicious Chinese food. The restaurant is modern and clean, and the parking is easy and ample. The ordering process is simple and convenient, using a touch screen and a number. The food comes out fast and fresh, and the portions are generous and reasonable. We tried the hunan sizzling pork bowl and the mei cai pork belly bowl, and we were very impressed. The hunan sizzling pork bowl had tender pork, fluffy rice, and a savory sauce, with some sliced bell peppers for a bit of spice. The mei cai pork belly bowl was amazing, with super soft pork belly and a sweet and tangy dry pickled mustard. It also came with a salad and some pickled bell peppers for some crunch. The service was friendly and efficient, and they cleared our table as soon as we were done. We loved everything about Fan Tang Asian Cafe, from the food to the price to the atmosphere. We will definitely come back for more mei cai pork belly bowls, and try other dishes as well. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves Chinese food! ”

“ Outstanding "cafeteria" style food - and I mean that in a great way. It's a more efficient self-service format, very clean, normally fast (I have seen them bogged down during super busy periods), and what I'd consider comfort food with good presentation. My kids love this place and we swing by for a quick fix on a regular basis since they opened. My favorite offering here: Mei Cai Pork Belly Bowl 梅菜蒸肉盖码饭 - Pork belly slow cooked with house chili sauce and Mei Cai, a dry pickled mustard with rich aroma from southern China, served with roasted pepper and rice. ”

“ Tried the 12 spice beef noodle soup here, and it was pretty good. I haven't found very many places serving Chinese beef noodle soup around the Seattle area, so Fan Tang is a welcome addition to the scene. I found it a bit spicy, but I don't have any spice tolerance at all, so for most people it's probably fine. The process of how to order was a bit confusing, we came for dine in where there was a QR code on the table but also kiosk ordering where you need to grab a number for your table so we were a bit lost. Staff was pretty friendly in clarifying though. Water and utensils were self service at various places in the restaurant. It was also really clean inside. I think the beef noodle soup was $14.50 before tax which is a fair price IMO. I didn't leave feeling super stuffed but it was a decent amount of noodles. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving beef noodle soup. ”
